Well, the final day of the trip really seemed to come quickly, but I guess with the full day of travel on day one it really shortened the trip.  We got up early once again, and swam our last practice at AU from 6:30-8:50am and headed out to the Airport.  Along the way we were treated to a last glimpses of the monuments and Capitol from across the Potomac River.  We also got to see some of Arlington National Cemetery and the Pentagon as we were driving by.  Brittany Boldizsar also picked out the Americana Hotel as the place she wished we had stayed instead of the Carlyle Suites.  Once we got to the airport and they finally found all of our reservations, we got to say good-bye to Tim, Abby and Jordan, and it was off to the gate and some food along the way.  Pat tried to pull a quickie on someone, but then had thought better of it.  Finally we were off to Atlanta and our 3 hour layover, which turned out to be even longer thanks to storms.  So what do our swimmers do when there is down time... EAT!!!  The girls headed back over to Moe's for burritos as they did on the way up.  Finally we were on the final leg of the trip and just about everyone slept since it was New Years Eve and they all had big plans.  Once we landed we had to make one more bathroom stop (Gina) before heading over to Baggage Claim and PARENTS!!!!!!
