Instead of waking up at our usual alarm clocks on our cell phones, our room (Katie, Britny, Gina, and Me) woke up to Gina's phone going off.  It had begun, her long day of calls for her Birthday.  We met in the lobby at 6:30am to go to the pool.  The pool is supposed to be 10 minutes away, but we haven't mastered the circles of D.C.  Once at the pool, we began our 3-hour practice with ab work.  Boy that killed.  After practice, we went sight-seeing around D.C., not before getting lost around the city for an hour.  To give Jim more credit, it wasn't lost, just no parking in that area for the van.  However, we did eat lunch in the Union Station and got to see the Capitol Building and the Supreme Court.  At the Capitol Building we all got our picture taken with the Security Guard with a huge gun and at the Supreme Court we got to go into the Court Room and see the different chairs where the Justices sit.  After this we went back to practice.  Two hours later we went out to eat for Gina's bday.  As we speak, we are comparing wind burns from the day and the start of suit rubs and talking about our day.  The architecture of D.C. is gorgeous!  Can't wait for the rest of the week!
