Yay!  Day after Christmas and the whole gang is back together after 2 days of not seeing each other & just plain old relaxing.  Everyone gathers in circles to discuss what they think the first dreaded  practice of the trip will be.  No need to worry about it just yet though, seeing as how it was only 8:00am in the Tampa International Airport.  After an hour delay we were on our way to Atlanta, Georgia's Airport!  We munched on our nutritious lunches from random food courts in the airport and headed off for another hour & 1/2 flight to WASHINGTON, D.C.!!!  WOOHOO!  Touching down we got our first glimpses of our nations capitol.  Our beloved coach Jim rented us  a burgundy van & a silver SUV to take us to all the exciting monuments scattered around D.C.  Although we got a tad bit lost amongst the narrow back roads, we eventually arrived at the HUGE American University.  Jim surprised all of us with 10x400's freestyle, but we still have high spirits for the next 5 days of the trip.
