Now that school is out
for summer, we have a new practice schedule that started last week
and will continue until our end of the summer break. As a
reminder, the Bronze Group will have practice Monday through Friday
from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM and the Silver/Gold Group is practicing
9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. The evening Summer School practice is
offered through appointment only if swimmers are unable to attend
morning practice due to summer school or camp. Please put in
writing the days you will be attending for Randy and me at least a
week prior to that practice.
Congratulations to all
the swimmers who competed in the Tampa Bay Swim Classic, for some
it was their first long course meters swim meet! Everyone
swam great and I saw some impressive improvements in your
performances! The Annual Private Club League Championship
Meet was also a huge success and we saw lots of CVST appearances in
Finals, GREAT JOB!! Keep up all your hard work on strokes and
in practice, and we’ll watch those strokes and personal best
times get better and better!
Don’t forget next
Friday June 25, we will be having a Friday Night at the Races swim
meet here at Emerald Greens. Warm ups for the meet begin at
5:00 PM and the meet itself begins at 6:00 PM. If you missed
the deadline to sign up for the meet, see me as soon as possible
and I will see what we can do to try to get you in. Looking
forward to seeing you all at practice, don’t forget your
sunscreen!!!!

PS. This Thursday,
June 24th is the Emerald Greens Family Night at the
Pool, so plan on coming back out that evening for some food &
fun!
