Jim Kelly - Randy Johnson - Kallie Krusoe
Jim Kelly, an Illinois native, took over CVST Head Coaching duties in January, 1989. Prior to this he was the CVST Head Age Group Coach from May, 1986, and in 1988 was named the Florida Swimming Age Group Coach of the Year. Jim has also served on the Florida Swimming Board of Directors, where he is the immediate past General Chairman (1999-2003). In the past, he has also served as the Age Group Chairman from 1989 to 1992, and again from 1993-1995. He has also served as a member of the United States Swimming Board of Directors, as the USA Swimming Southern Zone Coach Director (1999-2003), and is currently on the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations Committee and the USA Swimming National Records Chairman. Jim was also the USA Swimming Southern Age Group Chairman from September 1994 to September 1999. He was Assistant Coach of the 1986 Florida All-Star Team and Head Coach of the 1988 Florida All-Star Team. Jim is also serves as Swimming Coordinator for the Florida Sports Foundation's Sunshine State Games.
Prior to his affiliation with CVST he was the Assistant Head Coach for both the Men's and Women's Swim Teams at the University of Tampa. While at UT, the programs enjoyed much success including a 3rd place finish for the Men's Team in 1985 and a 2nd place finish for the Women's team in 1986 at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships. As Head Coach, Jim oversees all aspects of the Carrollwood Program.
Randy Johnson, CVST's Head Age Group Coach, is another Illinois native. He is a University of Illinois graduate and comes to Carrollwood form Belvidere, Illinois. He was Head Coach for the Belvidere Barracudas Swim Team, where he had great success with his Age Group swimmers, prior to coming to CVST in September of 1991. He is also a former Age Group swimmer and YMCA National Qualifier. Randy is also the past Age Group Chairman, on the Florida Swimming Board of Directors.
Randy's primary responsibilities are with the Senior II and Bronze Practice Groups, although he does over see all aspects of the CVST Age Group program. Randy is also the Head Coach for the CVST Masters Program.

Kallie Krusoe, one of CVST's Assistant Age Group Coaches, is actually a former CVST Team Member. She began with CVST at the age of 6 and swam on the team until age 18. She is a recent graduate of the University of Florida with both her Masters and Bachelors degrees in education. She is currently a teacher with the public school system in Hillsborough County.
Kallie's primary responsibility is with the Gold/Silver Practice Group.
